The Government of Guyana is pleased to announce a Sunrise Glorification Service: to God be Praised (an Inter-faith Activity) in celebration of Guyana’s 60th Independence Anniversary.
This activity reflects Government’s dedication to continuously nurture unity, understanding, and collaboration across diverse religious denominations as a country.
The event is scheduled for Monday, May 25, 2026, on the Lawns of State House from 6AM.
You can expect moments of collective reflection and gratitude, prayers and exhortation as leaders and devotees from all religious denominations across the country, other diverse spiritual groups and all Guyanese,— gather in an atmosphere of deep reverence.
