The Caribbean Premier League (CPL) 2025 final in Guyana was packed with excitement, but not without controversy, as fans directed loud boos toward some players on the field. West Indies legend Kieron Pollard, however, brushed off the crowd’s reaction with a trademark mix of calm and wit.

Speaking after the match, Pollard remarked, “Booing is boring now.” The former all-rounder suggested that players have grown accustomed to such reactions and that focusing on the game remains the ultimate answer to critics. His response quickly caught attention on social media, where many praised his composure and sense of humor.

The boos came during key phases of the final, where emotions in the stands were running high. Pollard noted that while fan passion is an integral part of the CPL’s electric atmosphere, players should not let it affect their performance.

With the tournament concluding in dramatic fashion, Pollard’s words served as a reminder of the maturity and resilience required at the highest level. For fans, his statement added another memorable moment to a final that will be remembered both for its cricketing intensity and its crowd energy.
