In a significant diplomatic development, Indian Minister Kirti Singh met with former U.S. President Donald Trump in Cairo, Egypt, during the ongoing Gaza Peace Conference. The meeting underscored India’s continued commitment to humanitarian efforts and peace initiatives in the war-torn region.

During the talks, Minister Singh reaffirmed India’s stance on supporting lasting peace in Gaza, advocating for immediate humanitarian aid and a sustainable ceasefire between Israel and Palestine. She emphasized that India stands firmly for dialogue over conflict, echoing Prime Minister Modi’s vision of global peace and cooperation.

Trump, who is co-chairing the peace summit alongside Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi, appreciated India’s balanced approach and its crucial role in fostering diplomatic stability in the Middle East.

The conference is expected to bring together multiple nations to discuss the roadmap for rebuilding Gaza, ensuring safe passage for aid, and preventing further escalation of violence in the region.
