Delhi police are investigating a self-styled godman after 17 women came forward accusing him of molestation. The complaints allege that the baba lured women under the pretext of spiritual guidance and exploited them during private sessions.

According to police officials, the accused has been operating in the capital for several years, drawing followers through religious gatherings and promises of healing. What has shocked investigators further is the discovery that the baba’s car was fitted with fake embassy license plates, raising questions about his connections and attempts to misuse diplomatic identity for protection.

The victims, many of whom were associated with his ashram-like setup, stated that they were threatened and manipulated into silence until one of them decided to approach the police. Soon after, more women gathered the courage to file similar complaints.

Police have booked the accused under sections related to sexual harassment, molestation, and cheating. His luxury vehicle with forged plates has been seized, and officials are probing whether he had any links with organized networks that helped him obtain these fake credentials.

Authorities have urged more potential victims to step forward, assuring them of protection and swift action. The incident once again raises concerns over self-proclaimed spiritual leaders misusing faith and influence to prey on vulnerable followers.
