President Irfaan Ali has officially arrived in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, signaling the commencement of the much-anticipated inaugural CARICOM-Saudi Arabia Summit. The summit, scheduled for tomorrow, holds significant importance as leaders from both regions come together to engage in comprehensive discussions on various matters of mutual interest.

According to a statement released by the Office of the President, the agenda for the summit is broad and inclusive. One of the primary focal points is the exploration of opportunities to enhance investment and trade between the Caribbean Community (CARICOM) and Saudi Arabia. The discussions will delve into specific sectors deemed crucial for collaboration, with a spotlight on infrastructure, hospitality, energy, climate change, and environmental sustainability.

The leaders participating in the summit aim to foster stronger ties and explore avenues for economic cooperation that can benefit both regions. The emphasis on key sectors reflects a strategic approach to identifying areas where mutual investments and partnerships can yield positive outcomes.
